inDec 08, 2021

December 8 2021 Marina Lazebna, Minister of Social Policy; Veronika Hudoley, rector of the International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuriy Bugai; Vladyslav Mashkin, head of the National Social Service and Anna Nechai, rector of the International Academy of Lifelong Learning, signed a joint Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Social Policy, ISTU, the National Social Service Service and the International Academy of Lifelong Learning.

The main purpose of the Memorandum is the implementation of modern solutions for the comprehensive development of human resources in the social sphere in Ukraine. The importance of organizing a system of continuous training of community workers on issues of social protection, social work specialists is that the social protection of citizens and the methods of providing relevant services in any corner of Ukraine are of the same quality.

The introduction of a technological learning management system (or LMS - learn management system) will provide an opportunity to significantly increase the capacity and awareness of communities in social protection issues, increase the efficiency of using resources and platforms of all stakeholders for training, and also affect the quality of communications between the Ministry of Social Policy, the National Social Service, and local authorities state authorities and local self-government bodies.

The LMS system is based on the fact that all knowledge and data (from webinars, meetings, practices, trainings, lectures or presentation classes) will be stored in one place without time or other restrictions on access, will be systematized and formed into individual training programs. They will have the possibility of feedback, curation and checking of the level of knowledge.

It is noted that "such a tool for long-term development and management of the personnel potential of the social sphere will be able to be systematically developed by the state in the future with its own resources."
