International Children's Day: they are our future, for which we are all fighting today

inJun 01, 2023

Every year on June 1, the whole world celebrates International Children's Day. This holiday was founded way back in 1949 in order to draw society's attention to the problems faced by children.

Unfortunately, today, as well as a year ago, Ukrainians celebrate this day in the conditions of a full-scale war. And today, we continue to attract the international attention of opinion leaders not only to remember the trials that children face during their growing up and transition to adolescence. And in order to demonstrate: the lives of Ukrainian children are under the threat of missile attacks by Russian criminals every day.

Academician Yury Bugai International Scientific and Technical University honors this day. May every child who went abroad with their parents return home to a safe, quiet and peaceful place.

Our dream is for children to grow and develop, play with their peers on playgrounds and enjoy every day together with their relatives. And they did not hide in bomb shelters because of the threat of a rocket attack.

Our children are our future. The Russians want to destroy it. So let the world see on this day at what cost Ukrainians choose their independence.
