Experience of conducting education during the war period: ISTU takes part in the webinar "E-learning at the university"

Under the conditions of a large-scale invasion, the issue of education, like almost every sphere of
social life, began to demand the implementation of active activities through
Internet resources. Therefore, there was a need for regular improvement and
universalization of the e-learning system. That is why December 2 the International
Scientific and Technical University named after academician Yury Bugai became one of the guests
representing its own experience at the webinar "Electronic learning at the university"
("E-learning at the university"), organized by the Council for Education and Youth of the Republic of Estonia (HARNO) together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the "UKRKORG" project.

The purpose of organizing the webinar is to analyze and review the electronic environment
training, experience of implementing the system by Estonian universities, as well as
discussion of standardized requirements for the quality of electronic courses. Separate
presentation was provided an overview of the practice of using electronic means
of training and conducting electronic courses in Ukraine during the war. Own
experience of the functioning of the ISTU platform was presented to Estonian colleagues
by the vice-rector for international relations and development of the university Stanislav Kuhtyk.

The main attention in the presentation of Ukrainian research was paid to the platforms,
that are used, their capabilities, features and functional conditions.
Issues of the administration process and direct organization
of training during the war period, taking advanced training courses for
employees of the educational sphere were also raised. Additional information about interesting informal
formats for student education and other digital tools were also considered.

Similar webinars, seminars and the organization of other events, which task is
general improvement and sharing of own experience are quite valuable. Especially in
today's realities. ISTU was happy to present its own concept and together with
Estonian partners took part in the discussion of future steps for improvement
of electronic educational system.
