We invite you to join the UniCities Transition Lab Forum I, which will take place on May 23 in an online format.

📌Ukrainian and international speakers

This Forum is the first of a series in which speakers from the governments of Ukrainian, Swedish and Spanish cities, universities, companies and organizations of civil society, international organizations that are mobilizing for the climate-neutral and green reconstruction of Ukrainian cities will take part. Among the speakers will also be representatives of the European Commission, Spanish and Swedish pioneering initiatives that solve the problems of climate change in cities.

📌Main questions and topics

The Forum will discuss the importance of solutions and approaches in such matters as:

🔎 permanent reconstruction and revival of Ukraine;

🔎green reconstruction of Ukrainian cities;

🔎the role of universities in reconstruction and green transition;

🔎mobilization for climate-neutral cities of Ukraine based on the experience of cities in Spain and Sweden and others.

📌The purpose and tasks of UniCities

UniCities is a project designed to demonstrate the potential of Ukrainian universities as accelerators for systemic changes in cities in the direction of climate neutrality and sustainable development.

UniCities aims to strengthen the level of inter-university cooperation between Ukraine, Sweden and Spain. After all, it is international practice that will help to spread experience between countries.

The forum will be held online already next week on Tuesday, May 23. Starts at 14:00 Kyiv time.
