The Day of the Assembly of Ukraine: "We are returning ours. Consistency is the goal of victory"

inJanuary 22, 2023

Every year, on this day, January 22, Ukrainians celebrate two significant events for statehood:

  • In 1918, on January 22, the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR) proclaimed its independence and announced its goal "to be an independent, independent, free, sovereign state of the Ukrainian people."
  •  And within a year - in 1919 - UNR and ZUNR (Western Ukrainian People's Republic) announced a joint act of uniting all Ukrainian lands into one state

Both of these events become a significant indicator of how the people, through centuries and restrictions, sought to win their own integrity and independence.

International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuriy Bugai congratulates all Ukrainians on the Day of Sobornosti. Let this day continue to preserve the people's memory of the difficult past. After all, such events help to better understand oneself, one's identity and one's own national code.

For several centuries, Ukrainians have continued to fight against the Russian regime in any of its historical manifestations. And every time we gather more and more, work more actively and courageously repel the onslaught of the invaders.

Ukraine was able to fully restore its independence in 1991. Today, we are again fighting for the right to remain a cathedral and integral country. The idea of unity was and remains an important national value of the people. And now it is also a necessary prerequisite for the success of our courageous resistance during a full-scale invasion.

The congregation is not only a memory of past events, but also an incentive to create the future together!

"We are turning ours around. Consistency is the goal of victory"
