Open lecture "Current state of local self-government in the capital"

On November 29, 2021, a lecture on the topic "The current state of local self-government in the capital" was organized for students of the Professional College of the International Scientific and Technical University named after academician Yury Bugai, group Pk-91, within the framework of the study of the discipline "State construction and local self-government", the teacher of the Kozub Law Department, Lyudmila Vasylivna » with the participation of the legal adviser, assistant to the deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the 9th convocation of Kateryna Lyzogub.

At the meeting, questions were raised regarding the history and concept of local self-government; KMR as a representative body of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv; formation of the local budget; the role of a deputy as a representative of the electoral interests of his electoral district; powers of the deputy and the role of assistants of the deputy; Law of Ukraine "On the capital of Ukraine, the hero city of Kyiv", on amendments and interesting facts about local self-government in foreign countries.

Students showed interest and active participation in the discussion. For future lawyers, the topics turned out to be relevant and worthy of attention.

According to the results of the online meeting, the students of the Pk-91 group were invited on an excursion to the KMDA, after the announcement of the appropriate epidemiological situation in the city.
