While on a working trip to the Republic of Uzbekistan, ISTU Rector Veronika Khudoley visited the Westminster International University in Tashkent, as well as the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent. These two higher education institutions offer Western education with British qualifications.
During the visit to these universities, the Ukrainian rectors met with Dr. Bakhrom Mirkasimov, rector of WIUT, and Dr. Jasur Salikhov, rector of MDIS. During the meeting, the participants shared their experience in the development and implementation of Ukrainian and British educational programs, discussed the subject of academic exchange of students, internships of scientific and pedagogical staff of universities, as well as the possibility of ISTU participating in the annual WIUT summer camp.
